Act II Playhouse is committed to creating world-class productions of new, classic, and contemporary plays and musicals and to offering arts education for all ages in the Philadelphia suburbs. A non-profit, professional theatre in the heart of Ambler since 1999, we are proud to be a cultural leader in the community, playing a part in Ambler’s on-going renaissance and enhancing the quality of life here. We are devoted to presenting theatre with the highest artistic standards in a 130-seat venue whose intimacy draws audiences and actors into dynamic interaction. We also have a strong educational component, offering 3 semesters of classes for adults and children taught by Philadelphia-area theatre professionals.
The Ambler Symphony Orchestra is composed of 50+ musicians dedicated to providing low-cost, high quality musical entertainment to the Montgomery/ Bucks County area. The orchestra is under the baton of locally renowned conductor, Jack Moore, who is committed to providing our audiences with a superb concert musical experience.
Cellini Studios and Art Gallery showcases the artwork of local artists. We are part of a growing group of artists, musicians, restaurateurs and breweries who, along with the Ambler Movie Theater and Act II Playhouse are bringing new energy and excitement to Ambler. We currently have hours on Friday and Saturday 6:00 PM-10:00 PM and on Sunday 3:00 PM-7:00 PM. Come see what the artists are doing. You might be surprised what you find.
Nestled in a victorian-style house dating from the 1880s, Forest & Main, Brewery & Pub, in Ambler, Pa. creates old world style ales, and seasonally inspired dishes.

Because Ambler has the busiest train station on the R5 rail line, we use meters for regulating parking. When commuters park their cars all day in the downtown, they take spaces away from our shoppers and visitors. The meters will help free up convenient spaces for shoppers and other visitors. That's the why of meters, now here's how to take advantage of them:
AMPLE NUMBER OF SPACES
247 spaces in the three Borough lots
146 spaces on the street within one block of downtown.
THREE CONVENIENT LOTS
On Lindenwold at Butler Ave., Cavalier at Butler Ave., and Butler at the Train Tracks
BARGAIN RATES
SUNDAYS AND AFTER 6 PM ARE ALWAYS FREE.
WEEKDAYS ARE ALSO FREE FROM 12-2PM
One dollar buys you 1 hour of parking on all meters. You can pay for up to 2 hours with either coins or the Flowbird APP on your smart phone.
