Holiday Display Winner, 2014!

There were several wonderful displays this year, we are lucky to have such talented business owners who care so much. Thanks to all who participated and made our holidays a little brighter!

The winner dominated the contest, receiving almost 70% of the 323 votes! Congratulations to Ambler Skate Shop, for taking first place with their creative display! Clearly hours went into the design and it paid off! Ambler Main Street will present a check to Mike, Sean, and Craig for $400 this month!skate shop winning display 2014
Coming in second place is new Ambler Main Street member, Arielle Bridal, congratulations! They had a stunning winter display featuring some of their gorgeous gowns, so festive! Owners, April and Michelle, will be presented with a check for $200!

Third place is actually a tie, how about that! Tied for third place is Jeff Boyer State Farm and Tony Laguda Formalwear. Congrats to both for placing in this years contest and a big congratulations to the Laguda Family for recently celebrating 40 years in business in Ambler! Boyer and Laguda will split the $100 prize and each receive a check for $50.

PARKING IN AMBLER

Because Ambler has the busiest train station on the R5 rail line, we use meters for regulating parking. When commuters park their cars all day in the downtown, they take spaces away from our shoppers and visitors. The meters will help free up convenient spaces for shoppers and other visitors. That's the why of meters, now here's how to take advantage of them:

AMPLE NUMBER OF SPACES
247 spaces in the three Borough lots
146 spaces on the street within one block of downtown.

THREE CONVENIENT LOTS
On Lindenwold at Butler Ave., Cavalier at Butler Ave., and Butler at the Train Tracks

BARGAIN RATES
SUNDAYS AND AFTER 6 PM ARE ALWAYS FREE.
WEEKDAYS ARE ALSO FREE FROM 12-2PM
One dollar buys you 1 hour of parking on all meters.  You can pay for up to 2 hours with either coins or the Flowbird APP on your smart phone.
