Ambler Auto Show

Awards Best in Show Show Visitors Exhibitors Registration

POSTPONED
The Ambler Auto Show will be held
SUNDAY, MAY 15th, 3-8 PM.

Welcome to the 20th Annual edition of the Ambler Auto Show, the “Best Little Car Show Around”.  Each year, owners of antique, classic and unique autos and trucks travel to Ambler to participate in one of the finest automotive exhibitions in the Philadelphia suburbs, proudly displaying their vehicles along Butler Avenue through the center of the town for what has become the kick-off event of the Delaware Valley summer auto show season.

Over 200 of the finest examples of autos and trucks from both yesteryear and today will be on display. This year’s show will run from 3 PM until 8 PM to welcome families and folks who can stroll Butler Avenue, go to the restaurants and shops or grab a bite from one of the local food trucks for this special 20th Anniversary celebration. You’ll find specials at many of our eateries and shops. What a great way to spend a spring weekend evening!

Please note we will have a rain date if inclement weather threatens the day of the show. Be sure to check this website on Friday May 13th and on the morning of the show if it appears we might have bad weather.

2015 Best in Show
Al Whitcomb Memorial Trophy Winner

Produced by volunteers from the Ambler community, the Ambler Auto Show benefits Ambler Main Street, a community organization that promotes business and community development in Ambler, and has spearheaded Ambler’s business revitalization. The show began as the vision of a small group of locals, including the late Al Whitcomb, who served as the chairman of the event for many years and sheparded its growth and development. The Ambler Auto Show is very proud to award the Al Whitcomb Memorial Best-In Show trophy to the owner whose vehicle receives the highest number of votes. That vehicle then becomes the show’s featured star for the following year’s event.

All participants receive a commemorative dash plaque signifying their participation in the event. We are proud that some of this year’s entrants will receive their 20th plaque as they check-in for the show!

And Don’t forget to like us on Facebook!!!

We’re especially grateful to our GOLD and SILVER sponsors and hope you’ll consider patronizing them when needing their products or services. Your purchase helps insure that our sponsors will be here for us next year, so we can make our show even bigger and better for you!

PARKING IN AMBLER

Because Ambler has the busiest train station on the R5 rail line, we use meters for regulating parking. When commuters park their cars all day in the downtown, they take spaces away from our shoppers and visitors. The meters will help free up convenient spaces for shoppers and other visitors. That's the why of meters, now here's how to take advantage of them:

AMPLE NUMBER OF SPACES
247 spaces in the three Borough lots
146 spaces on the street within one block of downtown.

THREE CONVENIENT LOTS
On Lindenwold at Butler Ave., Cavalier at Butler Ave., and Butler at the Train Tracks

BARGAIN RATES
SUNDAYS AND AFTER 6 PM ARE ALWAYS FREE.
WEEKDAYS ARE ALSO FREE FROM 12-2PM
Fifty cents buys you 1 hour of parking on all meters
