2016 Ambler Arts & Music Festival

On June 17th & 18th we host the 4th annual Art and Music Fest.  For this widely successful party we partner with Ambler Rotary and Ambler Borough to bring music and art for two days of the best: shopping, dancing, drinking and eating, and listening anywhere.

The festivities begin Friday night at 6 p.m. when local jazz group Jazz 180 opens the Friday night Festival which goes till 11 p.m. when the fantastic Vincent James band returns as our Friday closer.

Then Saturday morning, more than 75 fine artists line Butler Avenue to bring us the Arts portion of the Festival. Simultaneously at 11 a.m. we welcome our young performers from the School of Rock, Wissahickon High School, and Ambler Music to the Cavalier Drive Stage to entertain all afternoon. Then local performing artist Devon Lassiter brings her sixties revival group The First Ladies of Rock and Soul to open up the Saturday night portion of the Festival.

It all culminates with Mike DelGuidice and the Billy Joel tribute Band Big Shot – featuring 3 current Billy Joel Band members.

Be sure to check the www.amblerfest.org website for the schedule of performances and up to date information.

PARKING IN AMBLER

Because Ambler has the busiest train station on the R5 rail line, we use meters for regulating parking. When commuters park their cars all day in the downtown, they take spaces away from our shoppers and visitors. The meters will help free up convenient spaces for shoppers and other visitors. That's the why of meters, now here's how to take advantage of them:

AMPLE NUMBER OF SPACES
247 spaces in the three Borough lots
146 spaces on the street within one block of downtown.

THREE CONVENIENT LOTS
On Lindenwold at Butler Ave., Cavalier at Butler Ave., and Butler at the Train Tracks

BARGAIN RATES
SUNDAYS AND AFTER 6 PM ARE ALWAYS FREE.
WEEKDAYS ARE ALSO FREE FROM 12-2PM
One dollar buys you 1 hour of parking on all meters.  You can pay for up to 2 hours with either coins or the Flowbird APP on your smart phone.
